But by gosh, it’s so hard to keep the kids away from sugar when the holidays come up, isn’t it? Especially the 4th of July! So many desserts, so many options…so much sugar! How is a parent supposed to keep their kids away from it all?
The answer? Substitutions. Don’t keep the desserts away from your children. Just try your best to swap the more sugar-dense ones with lighter ones, like these perfectly fruity yogurty berry popsicles! They are so simple you’ll wonder why you hadn’t made them already!
Here is what you need to do:
Make this delicious, vibrant ice pops by plopping some blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries into molds and spooning some plain yogurt on top (we like coconut yogurt- rich in probiotics and naturally sweet).
That’s it! Seriously – it’s that easy!
